All of these elements play a crucial role in the development of the space plan and will dramatically Influence the ultimate style of the design.
Spectra develops initial interior design plan to establish adjacencies and hierarchies of spaces in the public areas, to determine the location and layout of suites, and to develop guestroom layouts.
Furniture plans are created for each interior to ensure that all of the components of the hotel will fit into the building footprint. This space planning establishes a basis for the design Concept as well as for all subsequent project documentation.
DESIGN CONCEPT
Concept development begins with exhaustive research. Our designers study a projects location and demographic market in order to identify cultural and regional components that will impact and influence the overall conceptual design.
In each of our design concepts, Spectra works towards providing a unique guest experience. Our work reflects the character of the project location while creating a sense of theater, a feeling of comfort, and an unsurpassed level of quality.
Spectras Interior designs develops material and furniture selections, interior sketches that establish the basic design detection, and estimated costs for implementing the interior design concept.The project team develops a color palette, coordinates furniture and finishes, and assembles of presentation boards that accompany renderings of the various interior spaces.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Design development focuses on further development and refinement of details in the overall design concept. A series of plans and drawings is created to fully describe the functionality of all interior spaces and explain the ways in which various components of the interior design interact.
Documents are submitted to the architect for coordination with other disciplines and include: Architectural information Plan, Furniture Plan, Reflected Ceiling Plans, MEP Location Plans, and Floor Covering Plan Interior Elevations and Sections, and interior Details.
DOCUMENTATION
Interior Design services include the production of a final set of FF&E drawings and specifications that provide bid documents, product samples, shop drawings, and purchase orders.
Documents provided during this bidding and negation phase include: material Reference & Finish Specifications, Millwork & joinery Drawings, furnishing Specifications, Miscellaneous Decorative details, and model room documentation.
Construction of a full-scale typical guestroom for review and approval will occur based on this documentation.
BIDDING & NEGOTIATIONS
In this phase, Spectra will assist with pre-qualification of vendors and evaluation of pricing, and will coordinate with the purchasing agent, contractor, and Manufacturers to meet the project budget previously presented and approved in the Design Concept Phase. Our services include ongoing collaboration with these members of the design team to review bids and assist, where necessary, with negotiations.
IMPLEMENTATION
During the projects construction phase, our interior designers will make periodic site vests to review progress and ensue ensure that work is being preferments, specifications and design concepts. Services to be provided during this phase include: review of purchase orders, review of purchase orders, review of shop drawings, review of samples and/or prototypes, final installation of artwork and accessories, installation review, and completion of the punch list.
In conjunction with Spectra’s Interior Design’s six phases of interior design, our Art Consultancy is available to provide collateral services that include the development, procurement, and management of unique and exclusive Custom art programs for each project.
Development of art programs actually begins during the Design Concept Phase: Consultants begin collaboration with the interior design team at a projects inception, and continues through to installation, resulting in inventive collections of unparalleled art and advisories that complement and enhance the interior design.
Spectra’s Interior Design graphic arts division, graphic international, provides comprehensive identity, signage and print graphic programs that are carefully coordinated to reinforce the visual impact of the project concepts. This additional service provides a coordinated throughout the property to ensure a total guest experience.
